So last week I promised an update on several things, so here it goes:
1) There will be another book in The Ghost Series. Book 4 has been started, Chapter 1 is already finished. Right now, the title will be Ghost Revival. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with that. Too soon to think about a release date, though I'm shooting for Nov/Dec. Really depends on how soon I finish the story and get it edited. Which also depends on other things, when my editor's available, other books I'm writing, promoting, etc. But end of the year is my target. 2) The Silencer and Rogue Ghost audiobooks are both underway, and both sound great. I will keep updating the progress of both. 3) A Dangerous Man is also almost ready to go. I've debating whether I want to put it up for pre-order, or just surprise everyone with a release. If I go with the pre-order, it will likely be released first week of August. If I don't, it will probably be released late June/early July. This book is a standalone, my first that's not in a series. As such, I have no plans or ideas to turn it into a series. It's a one and done. Basically, the debate is whether I want to release two books so close to each other, since Blowback is being released July 5th. If I decide to space out releases, it'll be Aug. Still thinking about it. 4) The website is being worked on to include options for autographed copies purchased from me, as well as a few other options. I'll announce something when it's ready, probably in a week or two.

Well, book 2 of The Silencer Series, Fully Loaded, is now available in paperback!
www.amazon.com/Fully-Loaded-Silencer-Mike-Ryan/dp/154677341X Hard Target will be next up, though it likely won't be released until later in June. The Ghost Series will also be available in paperback, though I'm assuming it won't be until July, maybe August. We'll see how it goes. Blowback (Silencer Series #4), now has an official release date of July 5. It is already for sale and available to pre-order. The link is here:
www.amazon.com/dp/B071HWJQ8Y Will be back in the next day or two with a bunch more updates regarding various things. Thanks for the support guys and gals! I'm pleased to announce that the Rogue Ghost audiobook is currently underway! The narrator we selected was Jennifer O'Donnell, who's done books for Hugh Howey, HM Ward, Andrew Mayne, Julianne MacLean, just to name a few. We had over 40 auditions for the job and some were very, very good. But Jennifer's was just on another level. Her audition was almost perfect and as soon as I heard it I was hooked. I can't wait to hear how it turns out. I'll keep everyone updated on the progress.
So this has been a long time coming. I can now say that The Silencer is now available in paperback for those that want it! It's on Amazon, selling for $10.99. It's also enrolled in the matchbook program. That means that if you buy the paperback, you can also purchase the ebook for only .99. I've included the paperback link below for those who are interested.
www.amazon.com/Silencer-1-Mike-Ryan/dp/1542952549 PS...Fully Loaded is currently being formatted for print next and will probably be available within the next few weeks. So I've already previously announced a narrator was found, contracts signed, for The Silencer. The person who is narrating the book is Brian Hutchison. He has done NYT Bestsellers such as Jodi Picoult, Scott McEwen, Jonathan Maberry, Mickey Spillane, as well as countless others. In the past few years, Brian has received an Earphones Award for Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult, a Voice Arts Award in 2015 for Leaving the Sea by Ben Marcus, and three Audie nominations for Snowbound by Richard S. Wheeler, Clockwork Lives by Kevin J. Anderson and Neil Peart, and How It Went Down by Kekla Magoon. He's also appeared in Person of Interest, Elementary, Bridge Of Spies, among others. He's currently co-starring in an off-Broadway play called How To Transcend A Happy Marriage with Marisa Tomei. Before that, he starred in the off-Broadway play, Smokefall, with Zachary Quinto.
I have to say that I'm beyond thrilled to be working with someone of Brian's talents. When I first started auditioning for the book, I didn't think it was even possible to get someone with his resume. But his resume wasn't why he was chosen. He had a great audition and seemed like the perfect choice for the job. Beyond that, the few times I've talked to him, seems like a really good guy. I'm really excited to hear the finished product. I'll keep everyone updated. |
